Hey there! Got a robot vacuum that's having a hard time finding its way back home to recharge? No worries! Here are some simple steps to help your little helper get back on track.
1. Find the Sweet Spot for Charging Stand: Your charging stand needs a clear path to shine. Make sure there's nothing blocking its way within half a meter to the left and a full meter and a half in front. And remember, it loves to snuggle up against a wall, so no hiding it under the couch or behind a big bookshelf, please!
2. Keep the Stand Steady and Steady: Once you've found the perfect spot, stick with it. Don't move your charging stand around while your robot is busy cleaning. It needs a home base to return to!
3. Say Goodbye to Protective Films: If your charging base came with a protective film, it's time for a parting of ways. Peel it off so your robot can connect without any fuss.
4. Keep Those Eyes Clean: Your robot's "eyes" (the sensors) need to be spotless. Check the front window for any dirt and give it a quick wipe if needed.
5. No Slip Sliding Away: Did your robot slip and slide during its cleaning escapades? Make sure it's on a non-slippery surface to avoid any confusion on its way back home.
6. Get Up to Date: Is your robot's brain (firmware) up to date? A quick software update can sometimes be the magic trick to get things charging smoothly again.
7. Test the Recharge: Park your robot about a meter and a half away from the charging point and hit the recharge button. If it doesn't start charging, gently guide it back to the charging stand and see if it says "start charging" and powers up.
8. Need Help? We're Here! If, after all this, your robot still can't find its way home to recharge, or if it only does it sometimes, it might be time for a chat with our customer service team. They're super friendly and ready to help!
P.S. For the X40 Master model, there's no need to worry about placement restrictions. Just follow these tips, and you should be all set!
