Fault Description: Fail to Connect Network
If your robot is having trouble connecting to the network, here's a detailed guide to help you troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check Your Wi-Fi Network:
- Please ensure that the connection is on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as some robots may not support 5GHz networks.
2. Optimize Signal Strength:
- Make sure that the robot and your mobile phone are close to the router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal.
- Turn on the location permission of the App and Bluetooth on your mobile phone before configuring the network. Not doing so may cause the network configuration to fail.
3. Connect to Robot's Hotspot:
- When connecting to the hotspot released by the robot, wait until you hear the voice prompt from the robot, then return to the App and wait for the network configuration result.
4. Wi-Fi Name and Password:
- It's recommended to set your home Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password to English letters or numbers, avoiding special characters.
5. Router Settings:
- Check if your router is set up with MAC address filtering or whitelisting. Try resetting the router and restarting the robot, then check again.
6. Use Mobile Hotspot for Cross-Validation:
- If the above methods don't work, try using one mobile phone to create a hotspot as a Wi-Fi network, and use another mobile phone to connect to this hotspot and then configure the network.
7. Mobile Model Variation:
- The connection failure may also be related to the model of your mobile phone. Try using a different model of mobile phone to attempt the connection.
If Still Fails to Connect: Please provide the following information to our Customer Support for further assistance:
- SN code of the robot (found at the bottom of the robot or charging dock, refer to the attached picture).
- Your App account ID (found in the App under "Me" > "Account ID").
- A video showing your entire connection process (recorded on your phone screen).
