Hey there, cleaning expert! 👷♀️ Is your wet and dry vacuum not performing as it should with issues like too much water flow, no water absorption, or weak suction? Let's troubleshoot these issues together!
Step-by-Step Guide to Resolve Wet and Dry Vacuum Issues
Step 1: Check the Roller Brush and Filter
-
Dry Them Out: Ensure that the roller brush and filter are not too wet. It's recommended to dry both after each use to maintain optimal performance.
Step 2: New Roller Brush Adjustment
-
Give It Time: If you recently replaced the roller brush, it might have loose bristles initially, and water may not be absorbed efficiently during the first few minutes of use. This should improve after about 2 minutes of operation.
Step 3: Replace Old Roller Brush
-
Check the Diameter: If the roller brush has been used for a long time, its diameter might have reduced, leading to decreased water absorption. It’s recommended to replace the roller brush every 3-6 months.
Step 4: Check Roller Brush Installation
-
Proper Installation: Make sure the roller brush is clean, not too wet, and properly installed. Clean the roller brush if necessary and reinstall it.
Step 5: Clean the Main Suction Inlet and Pipe
-
Use the Cleaning Brush: Use the cleaning brush to clean the main suction inlet and pipe of the device to ensure there's no blockage.
Step 6: Proper Scraper Use
-
Forward Motion: The scraper located at the rear bottom of the device is designed to wipe water when the device is pushed forward. Pulling the device backward may cause water to be left behind as the scraper doesn’t wipe in reverse. For best results, make sure your last action is pushing forward, not pulling back.
-
Clean at a Slower Speed: Also, clean at a slower speed to allow maximum water recovery.
Step 7: Water Absorption Mode
-
Adjust Mode: If there is too much water on the floor, consider switching to water absorption mode for better results.
Tips for Maintenance
-
Regular Checks: Always check the roller brush, filter, and scraper for any signs of wear and tear or blockages.
-
Proper Usage: Ensure you're using your wet and dry vacuum according to the manufacturer's instructions for the best performance.
Final Thoughts
By following these steps, you should be able to fix those nagging issues with your wet and dry vacuum, getting you back to efficient cleaning in no time. Remember, regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and efficiency of your cleaning equipment!

The water is not coming out of the clean water tank. I can manually press the button on the bottom of the tank and water flows easily. However, when the tank is on the machine water does not come out of the tank to go to the e roller or to go into the used water tank during self cleaning. I have followed all instructions in the multiple articles you have sent me. Everything is clean and dry.
