Dreame Home APP: Adding Devices and Network Setup Made Easy

Step 1: Connect Your APP to the Robot's Network

To control your robot through the Dreame Home APP, you'll need to link it to the robot's network first. It's a piece of cake!

Step 2: Adding Devices

You have two simple ways to add your device to the network:

• By Model: Just select your model and follow the prompts.

• By Scanning a QR Code: Find the QR code under your robot's cover and scan away!

Find Your QR Code:

Before You Begin

• Ensure Bluetooth is switched on.
• Grant the Dreame Home APP permission to access your location and local network.
• Connect your phone to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. (If your router is dual-band, choose the 2.4GHz network. Android users can check their Wi-Fi band in the WLAN network details.)

Notes

• Make sure your phone, device, and home Wi-Fi are all in alignment and that they're in a spot with a strong signal.
• Enable location permissions for the APP.
• Ensure both your phone and device are connected to the same 2.4G Wi-Fi network.
• Avoid configuring the network with multiple phones simultaneously.
• Don't set up the device with both Dreame Home APP and Mi Home APP at the same time. If your model supports both, choose one.
• Dreame Home APP can manage multiple devices under one account.
• One robot can only be bound to one user. If others want to use the robot via APP, the main user should share the device.

Detailed Connection Steps

1. Tap "+add device" or scan the QR code to add your device.

2. Connect to your Wi-Fi router by entering the Wi-Fi details.

3. Turn on your device by placing it in the base station or pressing and holding the Power button until you hear a power-on tone and see the button indicators light up.

4. Reset Wi-Fi/Release the Hotspot by simultaneously pressing and holding the Clean and Dock buttons for 3 seconds. You'll hear a voice prompt indicating the robot is waiting for network configuration. Once the power indicator blinks, the Wi-Fi has been reset.

5. Connect to the Device Hotspot by searching for nearby device hotspots and tapping "next" when your device appears. If the hotspot isn't found, manually connect your phone to the robot hotspot named "dreame-vacuum-xxxx". You'll hear "Robot at phone connected, please return to the APP to wait for the results". Then, return to the APP to await the network configuration result.

6. Once connected, the process will begin automatically. Tap "finished" when done.
