This article addresses the frequent "LiDAR sensor error" messages that your robot displays during the cleaning process. You can follow the video instructions below to troubleshoot the problem:
1. Confirm whether the firmware is the latest version. If not, update it to the latest version first.
2. Check the LDS component:
- Check whether the LDS (Laser Distance Sensor) component is stuck by foreign objects, causing it to not rotate normally. You can gently move the LDS to see if it can rotate freely.
3. Check the LDS cover:
- Gently move the LDS cover to confirm whether it can move freely front and back, left and right. If there is an obstruction, check whether there are foreign objects around the cover.
4. Check the laser emission and receiving holes:
- Check the laser emission and receiving holes of the LDS component to confirm whether these two holes are blocked by foreign objects. If there is dirt or blockage, use a soft cloth or brush to clean it to ensure that the laser can be emitted and received normally.
