We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing a positioning failure with your machine! Here’s a helpful guide to get things back on track. 😊
Steps to Resolve Positioning Failure
-
Return to Base Station:
If the machine has indicated a positioning failure and the base station hasn’t moved, simply place the machine back on the base. It should automatically restore the map. If that doesn't work, try cleaning again, and once it finishes, the map will save automatically during recharging. 🔄 -
Check for Base Station Movement:
If the base station has moved or there are significant changes in the surrounding environment, positioning failures might occur. -
Be Mindful of the Surface:
Wet floors can cause the driving wheels to slip or even trap the machine, leading to positioning issues. If cleaning on wet surfaces or tiles, use the lowest water output to prevent slipping. 🧼💧 -
Clear the Area:
Before the machine operates, it’s helpful to pick up scattered items, wires, and anything else that could obstruct its movement. -
Use Virtual Walls/Restricted Areas:
Consider activating virtual walls or restricted areas to prevent the machine from getting stuck. 🚧 -
Multiple Saved Maps:
If you’ve saved multiple maps, ensure that when the machine enters a specific map, the app switches to that map too. Failing to do so might lead to positioning problems.
