Before you begin, please ensure you have completed the following preparations:
- Download and install the Dreamehome app from your app store.
- Connect your smartphone to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. (This device does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi).
- Enable Bluetooth and Location Services on your smartphone.
There are two methods to add your device to the app.
Method 1: Scan the QR Code
In the Dreamehome app, navigate to Device > Scan QR Code.
- Scan the QR code located on the back of the air purifier.
Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi password and tap Next.
Confirm the purifier is powered on. Check the box next to "The power has been connected" and tap Next.
Press and hold the "Information Switch" the physical button located under the screen for 5 seconds until a Wi-Fi icon appears on the screen. In the app, check the box next to "The network provisioning mode is now displayed" and tap Next.
- Tap Connect to Device Hotspot. A pop-up may ask you to join the "dreame-airPurifier_xxx" Wi-Fi network. Tap Join.
Note: If the pop-up does not appear, please go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings, manually connect to the dreame-airPurifier_xxx network, and then return to the Dreamehome app.
Once three green checkmarks appear, the connection is complete. Tap Finished to complete the setup. Your device will now appear in the app.
Method 2: Add Device Manually
In the Dreamehome app, navigate to Device > Add Device.
From the list on the left, find and select PM Series, then choose your specific model.
Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi password and tap Next.
Confirm the purifier is powered on. Check the box next to "The power has been connected" and tap Next.
Press and hold the "Information Switch" the physical button located under the screen for 5 seconds until a Wi-Fi icon appears on the screen. In the app, check the box next to "The network provisioning mode is now displayed" and tap Next.
The app will now search for and discover your device. Tap Next to proceed.
Once three green checkmarks appear, the connection is complete. Tap Finished to complete the setup. Your device will now appear in the app.
