Open the outer packaging box, take out the robot, the charging station, the charging station bottom plate, and other related accessories.
1. Install the Dreame A1:
① Please place the A1 on a soft surface and turn it upside down by 180° (Note: Ensure that the protective cover is installed on the lidar when inverting. Always wear protective gloves when flipping the robot).
② Remove the cutter disk handle cover.
③ Flip the robot back to its upright position and remove the lidar protective cover.
2. Install the charging station:
① Install the charging station in an open and flat area close to the edge of the lawn and an AC power socket, and ensure it is within Wi-Fi signal coverage. Keep at least 1 meter of space free from obstruction to the left, right, and in front of the charging station, and ensure the grass around the charging station is less than 6 cm high.
② Take out the hex key and ground nails from the accessories, use the hex key to screw the ground nails into the ground to secure the charging station bottom plate.
③ Insert the charging tower into the charging station bottom plate until you hear a click, and push the lidar cleaning brush into the charging station at the aligned position.
④ Take out the power adapter, and connect it to the extension cable, ensuring the power adapter is placed at least 30 cm above the ground, then plug the power cord into the power socket. (Note: If all connections are correct, the charging station indicator light will be blue and constantly on.)
⑤ Push the Dreame A1 into the charging station for charging, ensuring the robot's and station's charging contacts are connected properly. (Note: During normal charging, the charging station indicator light will be green and flashing. When the charge is complete, the indicator light will be green and constantly on.)
