What to do if the LDS does not lower itself under low furniture?

If the robot maps but never enters areas you know are 10 cm high, follow the steps below to enable the automatic height-adjustment feature.

 

Step 1 – In the app, select “Extreme Coverage” if you want the robot to enter gaps ≥ 98 mm.
Step 2 – Remove bed-sheets/table-cloths that hide the true furniture height.
Step 3 – Manually draw low-area rectangles in Map Editor if auto recognition still fails.
Step 4 – Restart the robot so LDS rescans and refreshes the height map.
