Unusual noise (high-pitched whining from the motor)

"1. Turn off the power immediately, unplug the device, clean the air intake and exhaust vents, and then restart it to check for any blockages.
2. Assess the nature of the noise. A scraping sound may be caused by hair or other debris getting caught in the fan blades. If the noise sounds different, it may indicate a hardware malfunction."
