How to resolve the issue of bad odor on the robot's mop pad?

Possible causes:

1.The home environment is humid, or the mop pad was not dried thoroughly and became moldy after prolonged non‑use.

2.The washing tray is contaminated with dirt.

If you experience an odor from the mop pad, you can resolve it as follows:

1.During daily use, we recommend using Dreame‑specific cleaning solution to wash the mop pad, which reduces the likelihood of mold growth.

2.If the mop pad will not be used for a long time, remove it and place it in a dry, ventilated area to air‑dry.

3.Periodically disassemble and inspect the washing tray on the base station, as dirt buildup in the tray can cause odors during drying.

Note: For models equipped with an automatic mop drying function, you can go to "Self‑Cleaning Settings" > "Start Drying" and increase the drying duration.
