Step 1: Keep the Path Clear
- Avoid closing doors leading to different areas during cleaning, as this can prevent your robot from accessing all zones or returning to its dock.
- Ensure there are no obstacles in the robot's path, and keep people and pets off the cleaning route to avoid interruptions.
Step 2: Addressing Open Area Errors
-
Map Anomalies:
- If your robot reports a blocked path in an open area, check for map overlap or offset in the app.
- Try manually restarting the robot to see if the issue resolves itself.
- If the problem persists, consider rebuilding the map to get your robot back on the right track.
-
Sensor Snafus:
- Check for any obstructions in the bumper sensor or laser sensor that might be causing false blockage readings.
- Clean these sensors manually and ensure they can rebound normally.
- After cleaning, restart the robot and see if it can continue its mission.
Step 3: Widening Narrow Aisles
- If furniture is blocking the cleaning path or if a restricted area/virtual wall is set too narrowly, adjust the furniture or the restricted area to give the robot more room to maneuver.
Step 4: Avoiding Furniture with Similar Height
- If your robot ventures under furniture of similar height and gets stuck, setting a restricted area can prevent this issue by keeping the robot away from such areas.
Step 5: Reach Out for Help
- If, after all these steps, your robot is still stuck in a cleaning conundrum, it's time to call in the pros.
- Contact our after-sales customer service for further assistance. We're here to make sure your robot is cleaning, not stuck!
