Hello everyone, below is the troubleshooting guide for faults related to **broken caster wheels and abnormal noise from the caster wheels** on the device.
Issue 1: If the universal wheel bracket is damaged, the equipment requires repair. Please refer to the diagram below.
Solution:Guide to repair directly if within warranty .
Issue 2:Noise issues with universal wheel
When the robot’s universal wheel move over floor gaps or uneven surfaces, you may hear a “clicking” noise. This is considered normal and usually occurs for the following reasons:
1. Uneven floor surfaces
If there are bumps or depressions on the floor, the front wheels may lightly strike the surface while moving, causing a clicking sound.
2. Large floor gaps
When the front wheels pass over larger gaps, they may move up and down slightly, producing a clicking noise.(A video is attached for your reference:https://eman.beebox.cc/pubs/NSaGQErXM
Please be assured that this sound does not indicate a malfunction. It is simply the robot adapting to different floor conditions during operation.
3. If noise persists after ruling out the above two points, try applying grease to the universal wheel and observe whether the noise disappears.
4. If troubleshooting proves ineffective, the swivel casters need replacement or the device requires repair.
