"Our fingerprint sensor is highly sensitive, but recognition rates may decrease under the following conditions:
Factors that may affect recognition:
- Damp fingers (after washing hands or sweating in rainy weather)
- Sweat, oil, or lotion on the fingers
- Dust or dirt on the fingers
- Cuts, peeling skin, or severe dryness on the fingers
- Severe wear on the finger surface (e.g., from prolonged physical labor)
Recommendations for improvement:
1. Recommendations for fingerprint enrollment:
- Ensure your finger is clean and dry before enrolling.
- We recommend enrolling the same finger 2–3 times, covering different angles and positions of the fingertip (center, left side, right side), which can significantly improve recognition rates.
- Apply normal pressure during enrollment; do not press too hard or too lightly.
- It is recommended to enroll at least two different fingers as backups.
2. Recommendations for daily use:
- If your fingers are damp, please dry them before attempting to use the device.
- If your fingers are excessively dry in winter, you can gently breathe on them or rub the fingertips with your thumb to increase moisture.
- If fingerprint recognition fails, adjust the angle and position of your finger and try again.
- If multiple attempts fail, unlock the device using other methods such as a passcode, NFC card, or emergency key.
3. If fingerprint recognition remains unresponsive:
- Delete the existing fingerprint data in the app and re-enroll your fingerprint.
- Ensure you capture your finger from multiple angles during enrollment.
- If the issue persists, please contact customer service.
Target User Group:
- This product’s fingerprint sensor is suitable for people aged 7 to 70.
- Children under 7 years old may have underdeveloped fingerprints, which can result in lower recognition rates. We recommend using an NFC card or passcode as an alternative."
