"If the door lock calibration fails, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Check the door’s condition:
- Make sure the door is fully closed and aligned with the door frame. Calibration will fail if the door is not closed tightly or is misaligned with the frame.
- Try pushing and pulling the door manually to ensure it does not wobble.
2. Check the installation stability:
- Gently wiggle the lock body by hand to ensure it is not loose. If there is any wobble, retighten the mounting screws (but do not overtighten).
- Check if the latch is being blocked by the door frame trim. If the latch extends and hits the edge of the trim, you may need to adjust the trim’s position or replace it with a larger trim from the accessory kit.
3. Check the lock body:
- Ensure the latch can extend and retract freely without getting stuck. If the latch does not move smoothly, the lock body may not be properly aligned with the door cutout during installation.
- Ensure the battery has sufficient charge (it is recommended to perform calibration when the battery level is above 50%).
4. Retry calibration:
- Exit the calibration page in the app, wait 10 seconds, then re-enter and attempt calibration again.
- If automatic calibration fails multiple times, try manual calibration mode.
5. Restart the door lock:
- Remove the battery cover, take out all batteries, wait 30 seconds, then reinstall them.
- Wait until the door lock has fully booted up (the indicator light returns to normal) before attempting calibration again.
6. Check door frame mounting plate compatibility:
- If there are remnants of an old lock mounting plate on the door frame, the holes in the old plate may be too small, causing the latch to be blocked. We recommend removing the old plate and using the plate provided in our accessory kit.
If none of the above methods resolve the calibration issue, please contact customer service for further assistance."
