1. Unplug the power cord and move the air purifier to another room.
2. Plug it back in and turn it on, set the fan speed to ""Pet Mode,"" and switch the display to show PM10.
3. Near the network icon sticker on the back of the unit, test using substances that produce smoke, such as cigarettes, incense, or moxibustion.
4. Observe the changes in the screen readings. If the readings change after testing, this indicates that the particulate matter sensor is functioning normally.
5. If the screen readings still do not change, the sensor is deemed faulty, and a repair is needed."
